The research shows that the systems operated by skilled workers are more efficient and increase effectiveness. They are less prone to errors making them more efficient. Use of technology has reduced redundancy in the processes. The workers do not have to keep repeating the same thing, technology reduces monotony.

Information Technology is responsible for planning and management of the firm. It is also referred to as Management Information Services or the information systems. There is little production in certain fields due to the lack of qualification, whereas substantially small amount of products is being produced by unskilled workers, and this makes it difficult to run organizations. Most organizations are at risk of closure due to the incapability of workers to produce. They mostly undergo losses. There is wastage in human resources and physical resources, since they are not efficiently and effectively utilized.

Wastage of resources is a result of unskilled workers, because they lack the skills, which help in their utilizing and. Due to the lack of skills, employees are likely to misuse and waste resources.

Rigidity of People to Change

Under normal circumstances, people are resistant and less flexible to changes. Organizations continue to use old and obsolete technologies, a situation, which causes firms to stagnate. Firms do not grow in terms of productivity. The manpower used in these firms is less equipped with the skills and knowledge, which makes it hard to introduce new technologies.

Desperate for workforce, some companies have input technologies in their systems, though they lack skilled workers. This makes them desperate, and they only pick workers they find in the market.
